The works fulfilled by the Caspian Complex Environmental Monitoring Administration in 2015
Caspian Complex Environmental Monitoring Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has carried out 2061 ecological monitoring in 2015 participating 4 in open sea organized on the sector of Caspian sea belonging to Azerbaijan, on the shore-strip of 955 kilometer (from the north to the south), on the beach areas, as well as in the institutions and objects functioning on the sea, on the floating means and on the open areas upon determined coordination. The purpose of monitoring was, by analyzing and investigating, to obtain information on impact of all types of waste (liquid, gas, solid, and etc) to sea water, flora and fauna as well as water objects formed in institutions that operate in the sea and the coastal zone and have anthropogenic impact, directly or indirectly (collector, channels, river and etc), to the Caspian sea and achieve the implementation of measures to minimize their impact. During monitoring water, ground, drilling mud and sludge samples have been taken. 22269 analytical, 12876 biological and ecotoxical, 17540 microbiological a total of 52685 have been explored. According to the results of analyzes was determined the oil products in water samples taken from of “Bibiheybatneft”, “Neft Dashalari’’, Oil- and Gas production Department named after A. Amirov, Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev as well as Azerneftyag Oil Refinery. The amount of chemical pollutants in water samples taken from collectors from eco-toxicological and microbiological point of view is contaminated to be the acute taken from collectors of Sahil and Pirallahi Biological Treatment Plants on the coastline of Baku, Hovsan canal, 32nd canal, Zig and Khoja Hasan Mechanical Treatment Plants, Azadlig avenue, Y.Safarov street, 8th district, Keshla and Ahmadli. The relevant analyses have been regularly carried out on those samples taken from the streams.Water samples were taken from the water purifier applications, installed in the regions of the Republic in order to supply the needs of the population to safe drinking water and analytical, ecotoxicol, microbiological analysis was carried out in water canals of Khachmaz and Salyan regions of “Azersu” Open Joint Stock Company (JSC) and registered as toxic. According to the measures mentioned in “on Artistic measures about protection of the Caspian Sea from pollution” by Presidential Decree № 2244 dated June 20, 2007 regular monitoring supervision has been carried out on the plants put into operation the analyses have been carried out on the samples taken from exit of plants to the sea and the information on their quality indicators have been delivered to the concerned organs of the Ministry. Joint monitoring together with experts of Hygiene and Epidemiology Center of the Ministry of Health based on agreed schedule was conducted in the coastal strip of territory along the beach of Absheron Peninsula and water samples were taken
from different fields, laboratory examinations were carried out on them. According to the laboratory analyzes the amount of intestinal bacteria waste water treatment plants installed in the modular common result of the microbiological point of view, the offshore areas, the amount of within the norms have been established. And according to the joint monitoring conducted the beach areas excluding Sahil district of Garadagh, Shikh district of Sabail and Sumgayit beaches were useful. The specialists of the laboratory took part in the environmental expedition in the Caspian Sea held by BP, parallel water and sediments samples were taken for testing from “Derin Su Guneshli”, “Qerbi Azeri”, “Shahdeniz” and also sea water and water-based drilling fluids were analyzed in “Chirag” platform and “Shahdeniz” field. The Ministry carried out the analysis in Bilgah beach on the eve of European Games and was taken sea water samples from different coordinates at a distance of 430 meters and at the depth of 0.5 meters. Caspian Complex Environmental Monitoring Administration in 2015 prepared bulletins on coastal zone of the Caspian Sea, as well as all environmental problems in sea aquatory and sent to the appropriate structures.
